Inkjet or Laser
When choosing the best multifunction printer for your needs, you must first choose between two main types. Only then, to produce a better choice, you can consider the other factors.
The type you buy depends on what you want to do with your multifunction printer:
an inkjet multifunction printer is more versatile because it can print in color or black and white on any type of support (document paper, photo paper, transfers, etc.) because the ink contained in the cartridge is simply sprayed.
A laser multifunction printer, on the other hand, can only print on paper because it uses a laser or LED to “mark” the points to “blacken” and a toner drum containing dry ink that transfers the ink where necessary.
Its main features are the speed and durability of the toner, but the main models can only print in black and white, unlike the versatile inkjet technology.
