Another way to take screenshots on your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus is through the Assistive Touch feature. With this method, you can capture the screen with one hand. This is how you do it:
- Enable Assistive Touch on your iPhone. To do so, go to settings > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > then toggle the switch to enable Assistive Touch.
- On the same screen, locate the option labeled “Customize Top Level Menu” and then tap on it to open.
- You will then see different icons. Tap the custom button represented by a star icon.
- Scroll down and tap to select Screenshot from the list. Doing so will add the screenshot option to your Assistive Touch menu.
You can then take a screenshot with one hand whenever you want. Just tap the Assistive Touch button, then tap the Screenshot button, and you’re good to go.

How to view and share a saved screenshot on your new iPhone?
To view and share a screenshot saved on your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, navigate to the screenshots album in the Albums folder. Here’s how to access this directory on your new iPhone:

- Go to the Albums tab.
